B. HOW THE DATASET IS CREATED
As of January 1, 2023, COVID-19 deaths are defined as persons who had COVID-19 listed as a cause of death or a significant condition contributing to their death on their death certificate. This definition is in alignment with the California Department of Public Health and the national Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists. Death data is provided by the California Department of Public Health.

It takes time to process this data. Because of this, death totals may increase or decrease over time.
Data are continually updated to maximize completeness of information and reporting on San Francisco COVID-19 deaths.
C. UPDATE PROCESS
Updates automatically at 06:30 and 07:30 AM Pacific Time on Wednesday each week.
Updates automatically at 06:30 and 07:30 AM Pacific Time on Wednesday each week.
Dataset will not update on the business day following any federal holiday.
D. HOW TO USE THIS DATASET

E. CHANGE LOG
- 9/11/2023 – on this date, we began using an updated definition of a COVID-19 death to align with the California Department of Public Health. This change was applied to COVID-19 deaths retrospectively beginning on 1/1/2023. More information about the recommendation by the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists that motivated this change can be found here.
- 4/6/2023 - the State implemented system updates to improve the integrity of historical data.
- 1/22/2022 - system updates to improve timeliness and accuracy of cases and deaths data were implemented.

D. HOW TO USE THIS DATASET
Airport data is seasonal in nature; therefore, any comparative analyses should be done on a period-over-period basis (i.e. January 2010 vs. January 2009) as opposed to period-to-period (i.e. January 2010 vs. February 2010). It is also important to note that fact and attribute field relationships are not always 1-to-1. For example, Cargo Statistics belonging to United Airlines will appear in multiple attribute fields and are additive, which provides flexibility for the user to derive categorical Cargo Statistics as desired.

Fire Calls-For-Service includes all fire units responses to calls. Each record includes the call number, incident number, address, unit identifier, call type, and disposition. All relevant time intervals are also included. Because this dataset is based on responses, and since most calls involved multiple units, there are multiple records for each call number. Addresses are associated with a block number, intersection or call box , not a specific address,

Dataset
A. SUMMARY This dataset contains the locations of bicycle parking racks installed by the SFMTA. The data includes locations that are installed on sidewalks, in on-street bicycle corrals, in city-owned garages, and in parklets. This dataset does not include racks installed on private property or in privately owned garages.
B. METHODOLOGY Locations are associated to an address so they may not reflect there actual placement along the sidewalk. Racks are installed in front of addresses along the sidewalk according to the SFMTA Bicycle Parking: Standards, Guidelines, Recommendations.https://www.sfmta.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/Bicycle_Parking_Guidelines.pdf
C. UPDATE FREQUENCY The dataset is updated quarterly as racks are continuously installed upon request from the public, businesses, and property owners as well as where the SFMTA sees demand.
D. OTHER CRITICAL INFO This dataset contains locations for racks installed on the sidewalk, on-street corrals, parklets and parcels, and in city-owned garages. The locations are associated to an address so they may not reflect the exact location installed.
