Counts of airline operations that incur noise exceeding threshold by airline and by month. The Aircraft Noise Abatement Office collects this data using an Airport Noise and Operations Management System. It is collected using remote noise monitor sites in the communities surrounding SFO. This data is collected to monitor and grade airlines' performance as part of SFO's Fly Quiet Program.
This dataset represents a history of all exhibitions held at San Francisco International Airport by SFO Museum. The data includes the exhibition name, gallery/location, start date, end date, and exhibition type (general or aviation).
The preferred departing runways from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. are 10L/R, 01L/R or 28L/R with an immediate right-turn when safety, weather and traffic permits. This reduces aircraft noise in residential communities surrounding the airport as over water-departure procedures directs aircraft over the bay. This dataset provides the amount of aircraft late night departures by runways. The percent of departures are calculated based on the month's total departures.
Air carrier runway use for all hours. Amount of operations by runway is provided. Percent of departures and arrivals are calculated based on the month's total departures and total arrivals. This data shows runway usage resulting in certain air traffic patterns used by aircraft to safely take-off and land.
